КЕП, УЕП, and a "regular" signature — what's the difference
- КЕП (qualified). The highest level: legally equivalent to a handwritten signature, issued by a qualified provider.
- УЕП (advanced). Identifies the signer and confirms the document's integrity, but is legally weaker than КЕП.
- Simple e-signature. For example, an "I agree" checkbox — fine for consents and low-risk actions, but not for important contracts.
Where a signature saves the most
Remote contracts with clients, internal approvals, applications and consents, completion certificates — everything that used to require a meeting or mail now gets signed online.
What this looks like in the service
The right flow: a document is generated from a template → sent to the client as a link → the client signs it → the signed file is stored in the system with a history. The "create → approve → sign → store" chain closes without paper.
The MCC platform has its own signing and approval mechanism, and integration with Diia.Signature / КЕП connects through a single "signature port" — as soon as access is available, the signature becomes legally qualified with no changes to your processes.
