How to accept bank transfer payments (IBAN) from clients

Updated 14.09.2026· 5 min read

Payment by bank transfer via IBAN is the simplest way for a ФОП or ТОВ to accept money: no card processing or РРО needed. The client receives an invoice with the details and payment purpose, pays through their own bank — and you confirm the funds arrived.

Why transfer instead of a card

Online card payment is convenient, but it requires connecting a payment provider, paying fees, and, by law, fiscalization through РРО/ПРРО. For many services, a simple IBAN transfer solves the payment question without all that complexity.

How to make payment convenient

  • Invoice with full details. Recipient, IBAN, ЄДРПОУ/ІПН, amount, and payment purpose (invoice number) — so the payment is easy to reconcile.
  • "I've paid" button. The client marks in their portal that they made the transfer — you see it right away and check that it arrived.
  • Manual confirmation. Once you see the money, you mark the invoice as paid; the status is visible to both you and the client.
When to add cards. Online card payments are worth adding once you have a steady flow of small payments. The platform is ready to connect it through a single "payment port" — your processes won't change.

What MCC can do

In MCC services, invoices are generated automatically, and transfer payment (IBAN) is built in: details, payment purpose, an "I've paid" button in the client portal, and staff confirmation. Online card payment is the next step once merchant credentials are in place.
